Tackle the Skate Park Safely - Indoors!

Indoor park skating workshops at Square State Skate!

Monday, May 20th, 6:30-8:00 pm

Already an experienced quad or inline skater looking to tackle the skate park? In this workshop you'll learn:

• Park terminology & etiquette
• Common ramps you'll use to get started
• Proper falling
• Stance & how to feel comfortable going from flat ground to transitions while pumping

Prerequisites

• Must be able to confidently skate forward, backward & stop.
• Quad or inline skates - any type, any wheels
• Required safety gear - helmet, wrist guards, elbow & knee pads 

Be Prepared

• Wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in.
• Bring water / water bottle

• This series requires advance online registration, which closes two hours prior to start time, and is limited to 6 participants. 

• If you would like to join this workshop after the registration window closes, please email us no later than 30 minutes prior to class start time to ensure availability. We will respond to let you know if space is available.

• All participants must complete the one-time liability waiver beforehand.

SQUARE STATE SKATE 

Square State Skate provides skateboard education and guidance for children of all ages, allowing their skills, passion and personality to grow in a safe, fun environment. They are fully committed to the entire skateboard community and are open to ALL children, regardless of age, race, gender or skill level. 

They operate the only indoor skatepark in Boulder County and offer all-ages open skateboard sessions every weekend from 2:00-6:00 pm and 18+ sessions every Thursday night from 6:30-9:00 pm.

We teach skills necessary for skateboarding - balance, confidence, determination, and problem solving skills - and then help transfer those skills off the board as well as on.

Anyone can learn tricks...we focus on the kids!
